EPILOGUE…a final section or speech added to the end of a story that brings closure and shows what happens to the characters after the main plot ends; words attached at the end.
That is what this is going to be…my epilogue of our 2026 Airstream trip!
I look back and am amazed that we were able to drive over 9,000 miles in our truck, pulling our Airstream trailer, and go all the way across the country – to the farthest point West – the Oregon coast! Amazed that we saw mountains, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, animals, people we expected to see and people we didn’t expect to see, bright blue skies, clouds, rainstorms, fog, and things I can’t remember!
We are back now and, even though it’s a little bit of a letdown, we know that we can’t be on vacation forever, and we all have things to do and people to see! That’s just as great for all of us because we love our friends and families back home!
I’m going to just share some of my favorite photos here in this epilogue – these memories will last a lifetime, and I am excited that we will make more in the future!
One last thing – Bob and Bobbi are usually behind us as we travel, and Bobbi has always taken photos of our trailer as we go through tunnels, over bridges, around corners, etc.! She started that three years ago, and it has become one of my favorite things! Every time we go over a neat bridge or through a tunnel or around a corner with beautiful scenery, I wait eagerly for the photo she will take. I want to share some of those with you all because they have become a special part of our trips!
I can’t thank each of you enough for taking time out of your busy schedules to read this blog and “come along” on our trips! It means so much to me and I am so grateful for you! It’s a blessing to share it with you and it’s a good way to document the trips so I can remember each one of them!
